Philips Energy Saver (a/k/a Marathon or Marathon Classic) Compact Fluorescent Dimmable Reflector Lamps

Philips has identified a safety problem which affects a number of Energy Saver a/k/a Marathon or Marathon Classic Compact Fluorescent dimmable reflector lamps produced between March 2007 & May 2010, and sold through the period of March 2007 through July 2011. Philips is committed to the well-being of its consumers and has decided to voluntarily recall the affected CFLi lamps and offer a free replacement lamp to consumers.     The Model numbers and UPC codes affected are:

The glue attaching the glass outer envelope or globe to the body of the lamp can fail allowing the glass outer envelope to fall and strike persons and objects below posing a possible laceration hazard to consumers.
